Ecamm Live is a software that allows professional recording of live broadcasts and interviews. You can also share your screen and use a green screen for your backgrounds.
I use Ecamm Live on almost all my videos with the split of my face/screen share (see an example). I can easily switch between scenes and add text or image overlays as I'm recording. I also like using it as I interview my guests so there's a side by side view of both of us.
Descript is a video and audio editing app that has made editing my class recording and interviews extremely easy. I love that it transcribes everything and I can just edit it like a word document.
When I'm sharing my work through videos & screen recordings, I use Descript to quickly edit it and upload online. They also have a quick way to make shareable social media clips!
Loom lets me easily record my screen and myself to explaining concepts or answering questions from my audience and students. It automatically uploads to the cloud and gives me a link within seconds.
I often do screen recording to share my work or teach a topic. Loom makes it so easy to record and share and I don't have to worry about uploading to YouTube. Also, having my face on the videos also creates a personal touch to all the videos.
